Terms of Service
Last updated: August 8, 2026
OVERVIEW
Welcome to Julia & Anna Toronto.
Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Julia & Anna Toronto.
We operate this website and online store, including all related information, content, features, products, tools and services made available through it (collectively, the “Services”).
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to offer our products and Services to you.
These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced herein, govern your access to and use of our website and Services.
By visiting our website, using our Services or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any policies incorporated by reference, including our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not access or use our Services.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
SECTION 1 – ELIGIBILITY AND USE OF OUR SERVICES
By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your province, state or country of residence, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required.
You agree to use our website and Services only for lawful purposes.
When using our Services or placing an order, you may be required to provide information including your name, email address, billing information, shipping address and payment details.
You agree that all information provided by you is accurate, complete and current.
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login details and for activity carried out through your account.
You may not use our Services in a manner that interferes with the operation, security or availability of our website.
SECTION 2 – PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, measurements, sizing information and other product details are displayed as accurately as possible.
However, the appearance of a product may vary slightly depending on factors such as:
- screen or device settings;
- lighting conditions;
- photography;
- manufacturing variations;
- differences in colour display between devices.
We therefore cannot guarantee that your device will display every colour or detail with complete accuracy.
Minor differences that do not materially affect the nature or intended use of a product may occur.
Product descriptions, availability and specifications may be updated from time to time.
We reserve the right to discontinue products or limit the quantities available where reasonably necessary.
Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights you may have in relation to goods that are defective, damaged, materially misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming.
SECTION 3 – ORDERS AND FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT
The presentation of products on our website does not constitute a legally binding offer to sell.
By submitting an order through our website, you make an offer to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms of Service.
After placing an order, you may receive an automated confirmation email acknowledging that we have received your order.
This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A purchase contract is formed once your order has been accepted and entered into processing or fulfilment.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- payment cannot be authorized;
- product or pricing information contains an obvious error;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorized use of a payment method;
- an order appears to have been placed for unauthorized commercial resale;
- we are unable to fulfil the order for operational or legal reasons.
If we cancel an order after payment has already been successfully collected, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method.
SECTION 4 – ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Please review your order carefully before submitting it.
If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible at info@juliaannatoronto.com.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate order changes or cancellation requests.
However, once an order has entered processing, fulfilment or shipment, we may no longer be able to modify or cancel it.
If cancellation is no longer possible, any return or refund request will be handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable law.
SECTION 5 – ORDER LIMITATIONS AND SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
We reserve the right to limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, household, payment method, address or order where reasonably necessary.
This may include orders that appear to:
- be fraudulent;
- involve unauthorized payment methods;
- have been placed by resellers or distributors;
- misuse promotional offers;
- attempt to circumvent purchase limits;
- otherwise violate these Terms.
Where reasonably possible, we will attempt to contact you using the information provided with your order if an order is changed or cancelled.
SECTION 6 – PRICES AND CURRENCY
Prices displayed on our website may change from time to time without prior notice.
The price applicable to your order is generally the price displayed at checkout when your order is placed, subject to correction of obvious errors.
Depending on your location, prices may be displayed in a local or converted currency.
Where currency conversion is used, displayed amounts may vary slightly due to exchange rates or payment-provider processing.
Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may also charge separate currency conversion or transaction fees.
Any such third-party fees are outside our control.
SECTION 7 – BILLING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION
You agree to provide accurate, complete and current billing and payment information for all purchases.
By submitting payment information, you confirm that:
- you are authorized to use the selected payment method;
- the information provided is accurate;
- sufficient authorization or funds are available to complete the transaction.
Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers.
We do not directly store complete credit card information where payment processing is handled by an external payment provider.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where payment cannot be authorized or where fraud is reasonably suspected.
SECTION 8 – PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNTS
From time to time, we may offer:
- promotional discounts;
- discount codes;
- automatic discounts;
- multi-buy offers;
- seasonal promotions;
- limited-time sales.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers:
- have no cash value;
- cannot be applied retroactively;
- may be limited to selected products;
- may require a minimum purchase;
- may have an expiration date;
- may not be combinable with other offers.
We reserve the right to cancel, modify or withdraw a promotion where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
Where specific promotional terms conflict with these Terms of Service, the specific promotion terms will apply to that promotion.
SECTION 9 – SHIPPING
Orders are shipped in accordance with the information provided in our Shipping Policy.
Shipping times shown on our website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Estimated delivery times may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
- carrier delays;
- customs processing;
- weather;
- public holidays;
- peak shopping periods;
- transportation disruptions;
- incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure orders are processed and shipped within the stated timeframe.
SECTION 10 – DELIVERY
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
Please verify your delivery information carefully before placing your order.
If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, delivery may be delayed, returned or otherwise affected.
Where permitted by law, additional costs caused directly by incorrect delivery information provided by the customer may be the customer's responsibility.
If your order appears to be lost, damaged or incorrectly delivered, contact us at info@juliaannatoronto.com so that we can investigate the issue.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you may have where goods are not delivered as legally required.
SECTION 11 – CUSTOMS, IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES
Depending on the destination of your order, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by local authorities may apply.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, such charges are not included in the product price.
Where permitted by applicable law, these charges are the responsibility of the customer.
We do not control charges imposed by customs authorities and cannot guarantee whether additional charges will apply to a particular order.
Customs requirements may vary by country or region.
SECTION 12 – RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Returns, refunds and exchanges are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.
We recommend reviewing the Refund Policy before placing your order.
Our Refund Policy may include information regarding:
- return eligibility;
- return periods;
- return shipping;
- damaged or defective items;
- incorrect items;
- refunds;
- exchanges where applicable.
Nothing in our Refund Policy or these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.
SECTION 13 – STATUTORY WARRANTIES AND CONSUMER RIGHTS
You may have statutory rights relating to the quality, conformity, durability or description of products you purchase.
These rights vary depending on your location.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory warranty, guarantee, remedy or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
If a product arrives damaged, defective or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us at info@juliaannatoronto.com.

We aim to keep our website and Services available and functioning correctly.
However, we cannot guarantee continuous or uninterrupted availability.
We may temporarily suspend or restrict access to parts of our Services for:
- maintenance;
- technical issues;

We are not responsible for temporary interruptions that are reasonably necessary or beyond our reasonable control.

Except for rights and warranties that cannot legally be excluded, our website and Services are provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:

SECTION 24 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Julia & Anna Toronto will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising solely from the use or inability to use our website or Services.
We are not responsible for losses caused exclusively by matters outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
In particular, nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
SECTION 25 – INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Julia & Anna Toronto against reasonable third-party claims, losses or expenses arising directly from:
- your unlawful use of our Services;
- your material breach of these Terms;
- your infringement of another person's rights.
This provision does not apply to the extent that a claim results from our own wrongful conduct or where liability cannot legally be transferred or excluded.
SECTION 26 – TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate access to our Services where we reasonably believe that you:
- materially breached these Terms;
- engaged in fraudulent activity;
- misused our website;

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
SECTION 28 – WAIVER
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we waive our right to enforce it later.
A waiver of one provision does not constitute a waiver of any other provision.
SECTION 29 – ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and other policies referenced on our website, constitute the agreement between you and Julia & Anna Toronto concerning the use of our Services.
They replace prior versions of these terms relating to the same subject matter.

The most current version will be published on this page together with the applicable “Last updated” date.
Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
